What Is The Difference Between PLR, MRR, And RR?
Private Label Rights, Master Resell Rights, and Resell Rights are different terms used to describe the rights that come with a particular digital product, such as an e-book or software.
Private Label Rights (PLR) refer to a license that allows the purchaser to use the product’s content in various ways, including modifying it, putting their name on it as the author, and selling it as their own. With PLR, the purchaser has almost complete control over the content and can use it however they wish.
Master Resell Rights (MRR) are similar to PLR but with some additional restrictions. With MRR, the purchaser can resell the product, but they are not allowed to modify its content or claim authorship. They are also typically required to sell the product under the same license agreement they received.
Resell Rights (RR) are the most restrictive of the three types of licenses. With RR, the purchaser is only allowed to sell the product, and they are not allowed to modify the content or claim authorship of it. They are also typically required to sell the product under the same license agreement they received.
Private Label Rights offer the most flexibility and control, while Resell Rights offer the least. Master Resell Rights fall somewhere in between, allowing the purchaser to sell the product but not to modify it or claim authorship.
